Mario inside a Switch Palace.
A Switch Palace is a special building on the world map. Inside each Switch Palace is a giant Switch. When activated, same-colored dashed line blocks would become solid ! Blocks on all levels in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion containing them.
Origins[]
The Switch Palace originated from the 1991 SNES launch game, Super Mario World. Their function is carried over to MKF.
Colors and effects[]
MKF contains the four standard Super Mario World Switch Palace colors: Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue.
Currently, the game has all four switch palaces:
- Yellow (The Mushroom Kingdom)
- Green (Alternate Earth)
- Red (The Demon Realm)
- Blue (Adventurer's Domain)
Trivia[]
- Originally, the blocks that become solid after clearing a specific Switch Palace had an "!" icon but have since been changed to a various symbol associated with playing cards starting with the v0.875 update.
- Yellow ! Blocks now have a spade symbol.
- Red ! Blocks now have a heart symbol.
- Green ! Blocks now have a diamond symbol.
- Blue ! Blocks now have a clover symbol.
