The Lil Reaper is a powerdown that appears from the game Wonder Boy. The Lil Reaper in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion will fly towards a player and latch on him/her.
Once latched on, the reaper with either rapidly drain the player's ruppee count, or lower their jump height. He will go away on his own after a set amount of time, if the player finds a Starman or clears the stage.
Not to be confused with the Reaper from Kid Icarus.

- When Wonder Boy was converted into Adventure Island, the reaper became an eggplant.
- Originally, the Lil Reapers drained away the timer. However, when the timer was removed, the reaper's functionality was changed.
