Infested Station is the 7th level in Edge of Beyond and it is based on the final levels of the many Contra games.
Layout[]
Originally a peaceful research station, it has been attacked by the Red Falcon Aliens, the Flood and the Zerg all at the same time! The player must navigate through the fleshy hallways and dive into the bowels of the ship, using the numerous guns and power-ups along the way to fight off all three alien factions. The level boss is the Shadow Beast Kimkoh, where it appeared to be a Flood-infested version of the final bosses from Super-C and Contra III.

- Message Block: And the Zerg are here too! They must be trying to assimilate the other species' DNA.
Trivia[]
- The music heard in this level is the Alien's Lair theme from Contra.
- Starting in the v0.82 (Unstable) update of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, the first section sprite has been revamped.
